Timed to take advantage of energy tariffs 9pm to 6 am in our case
Allow partial charging, 10, 20 50 80 or 100%
Alexa integration, tells you if the car is not plugged in so you don’t go to the car in the morning and find it didn’t charge.
Alexa tell you that the charge has started correctly or otherwise at the 9pm start time.
Energy monitoring and logging. System records charging energy use every day.
Actively avoids peak charges and load conditions.
Interlocks with the tumble dryer as the spur is not rated for both loads simultaneously.

Conclusion
The Hubitat smart charger has undoubtedly been a game-changer in my EV charging experience. Its seamless integration with between Alexa and the Hubitat Elevation platform, automated charging initiation, and energy management capabilities have elevated my charging routine to new heights.
